IRC Vet acts as a chelator of phosphorus, that is, it specifically binds to dietary phosphorus in the intestine, decreasing its intestinal absorption, thereby reducing its presence in the blood, relieving damaged kidneys. This phosphorus is eliminated in the faeces rather than in the urine. It is effective in both normal and prescription diets, regardless of the phosphorus content in the diet. The B vitamins (B6 and B12) help to normalize vitamin deficiencies and reduce symptoms of disease progression.
Chronic kidney failure is one of the most frequent pathologies in dogs and cats, especially in older animals. The symptoms are usually imperceptible and non-specific, therefore, when the kidneys are diagnosed, they are severely damaged and their normal function cannot be restored. Therefore, among the treatment measures, it is recommended to administer a controlled diet with low protein, phosphorous and sodium contents and the use of products that prevent the disease from progressing, extending the life of the animal as much as possible.

How to use: administer the tablets directly into the animal's mouth or, mixed with their usual food. It is preferable to administer it together with food. In the case of the gel, mix with the usual food. The animal must have permanent access to clean, fresh water to facilitate kidney function and prevent dehydration. It is recommended to initially take up to a maximum of 6 months.
