Description

Composition
Program ® 60: Lufenurón 67.8 mg.
Properties
• The lufenurón is a derivative of that benzoilurea administered orally to the dog, is rapidly absorbed, resulting in better absorption when administered together with food. The low rate of excretion ensures effective concentration of the active ingredient in blood for a month.
• Fleas, andalusia suck blood, eat the lufenurón, transferring it to their eggs, it blocked the formation of the chitin structure of the larvae (typical process of insects), which prevents the evolution towards adulthood. This will eliminate the possibility of domestic reinfestation by fleas that may bring the dog outside.

Dose
* Dogs: The recommended minimum dose is 10 mg lufenurón / kg pv / month, ie:
1 comp 60/month/dog Program ® 2.5 to 7 kg.
• The tablets are administered orally as a single dose once a month, preferably on the same day each month, along with the main meal, mixing or hidden in pieces of meat, etc.., Or directly in the mouth after food. It should be noted to ensure the animals that have swallowed the entire dose.
• Program ® should be administered every month, at least 6 months during the flea season. We recommend starting treatment 1-2 months before the fleas come into activity.
• If the dog is already infested, there is no viable eggs from the 24 hours following the first administration. The rate of elimination of pre-existing infestation is dependent on the number of flea larvae and pupae in the environment when establishing treatment and weather conditions. Do not kill the adult fleas.
• If the animal already had a high level of infestation by setting treatment may be necessary to treat with an adulticide during the first 1 or 2 months.
Comments
• To stop playback of fleas, it is essential that all are treated dogs and cats that live in the house, except not weaned pups.
