Barricade give excellent control of all known resistant tick
strains, also controls three host
ticks and buffalo fly. They are registered for use on horses, deer,
goats, sheep and working dogs as well as cattle.
Barricade are registered for use on cattle,
horses, deer, goats, sheep and working dogs by means of plunge dip,
spray race or hand spray.
These insecticides are highly efficient against all known strains of
resistant ticks except Parkhurst and Ultimo.
They kill all stages and dogs are normally clean of ticks within 3 to 4 days after treatment.
Larval ticks are prevented from attaching to animals for 7 to 10 days after treatment.
The efficiency of the products is not affected by moderate rainfall
after treatment although the protection period may be shortened.
